Faulkner Consulting Group feels it is important to weave DEIB into both our internal processes and our client-facing work. We are committed to becoming a fully diverse and inclusive organization where our employees, clients, and the communities our clients serve, feel seen, respected, supported, and represented. We are proud to embrace a team with varying races, ethnicities, nationalities, sexual orientations, gender identifications, religious beliefs, and ages.
Based on a 2024 all employee survey which had a 100% response rate, our team identifies as the following:
Equity Action Committee
Faulkner Consulting Group has an active Equity Action Committee that leads the implementation of our DEIB initiatives and holds FCG accountable for reaching our DEIB goals. The Equity Action Committee meets monthly with a focus on identifying and supporting DEIB shared learning opportunities.
Examples of FCG initiatives:
- Knowledge Sharing: We hold equity-focused knowledge sharing events that inform our approach to projects.
- Pride Parade: We show our support for the LBGTQ+ community at the annual Rhode Island Pride Parade.
- FCG Cares: We support our community through organized volunteer efforts with the RI Community Food Bank and Crossroads RI. Learn more about our community involvement.
- Conferences: Employees participate in equity focused conferences.
- Learning Events: Staff have the opportunity to attend learning events with guest speakers addressing topics such as:
- Creating a welcoming and respectful workplace for all
- Understanding race, ethnicity and nationality
- Transgender and gender nonconforming inclusivity in the workplace
- Veterans in the workforce
- Introduction to neurodiversity
- Disability Inclusion in the workplace
